For Valentine's Day, my Dad, Debbie, Derek & I took off for the big city. This was Derek's first trip to New York, and we had a blast. From the time we landed at 5am Friday morning, to the time we took off Monday night, we never stopped moving!
The first day, we went to Top of the Rock. It's such great building and gives you an idea of where everything is located in the city. As we were walking through the shops at Rockafeller Center, we came across a barber shop. Derek was in need of a shave, and a nap...it was perfect!
For lunch, we stopped at the famous Carnegie Deli. The sandwiches were HUGE (this picture is only half of the sandwich), but we did our best finish them off, and even had a little room for cheesecake!
Later that night we hit the Laker- Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. What a fun atmosphere!
